USS Albany
Five United States Navy ships have borne the name Albany, after Albany, the capital of New York.
- The USS Albany (1846), was a 22-gun sloop-of-war commissioned in 1846 and lost at sea in 1854.
- The USS Albany (1869), was a 14-gun screw sloop commissioned as Contoocook in 1868, renamed Albany in 1869, and decommissioned the next year.
- The USS Albany (CL-23), was a protected cruiser purchased on the ways in 1898 and later reclassified as a light cruiser.
- The USS Albany (CA-123), was a heavy cruiser commissioned in 1946 and later converted to a guided missile cruiser.
- The USS Albany (SSN-753), is a Los Angeles class attack submarine commissioned in 1990 and still on active service.
